Delete your Synapse account

You can delete your account and its data at any time. Your account is deleted 14 days after you ask: sign in again before then to keep it. After that it can't be undone.

IN THE APP · FASTEST

  1. Open Synapse and tap Menu
  2. Open Settings
  3. Tap Delete account, type DELETE and sign in with Google once more to confirm

You are signed out and taken off the leaderboards straight away. Changed your mind? Sign in within 14 days and everything comes back.

NO LONGER HAVE THE APP?

Email appsupport@node-ninja.dev from the Google address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll delete it and confirm within 30 days.

Email us

What gets deleted

  • Your name, email and photo
  • Display name and country
  • Single-player games, points and Battle stats
  • Your rows on the live leaderboards
  • Your sign-in sessions on every device

What we keep

  • Matches you played with others, with you shown as "Deleted player"
  • Question reports you sent, without your name
  • Archived top-100 results and podiums of past leaderboards, without your name
  • Our database backup, which may hold your data until our single database backup is next replaced
